This notice explains how the email address you give through the “Stay in the loop” form on atilayberber.com is processed, in line with Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

What we process and why
Only your email address, your language preference (Turkish/English), and the dates you subscribed, confirmed and gave consent. They are used solely to send you the weekly newsletter of new blog posts and the related confirmation and welcome emails. The legal basis is your explicit consent (KVKK Art. 5/1).
Storage and sharing
The data is stored in the website’s database on the server where the site is hosted. It is not sold, rented or shared with third parties for marketing. The site’s traffic passes through the Cloudflare network for security and performance.
Retention
Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days. When you unsubscribe, your address is kept only as an unsubscribe record so you are not emailed again, and it is deleted on request.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK you can learn whether your data is processed, request correction or deletion, and object. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email, and send any other request by replying to any newsletter email.
